6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
White Oak’s Trick or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 31st from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Residents who would like to participate are encouraged to turn on their porch lights to welcome trick-or-treaters.
Trick or Treat Safety Tips
Keep the fun in Halloween and the kids safe!
Trick or Treat with an Adult
Always go with a parent or trusted adult. Stay in a group and don’t wander off.
Wear Safe Costumes
Use bright colors or reflective tape, especially at night. Make sure costumes fit well and don’t block your vision. Avoid long capes or anything that could cause tripping.
Trick or Treat at Well-Lit Houses
Stay in neighborhoods you know. Go to homes with porch lights on and avoid houses that look empty or don’t have lights.
Keep Your Phone Handy
If you get separated from your group, know how to call your parent or guardian.
Use a Flashlight
Make sure you can see and be seen. Flashlights help you avoid tripping and help drivers notice you.
Only Accept Sealed Treats
Check your candy before eating it. If it’s unwrapped, looks tampered with, or you’re not sure, don’t eat it. Ask an adult for help.
Be Aware of Traffic
Look both ways before crossing streets. Use crosswalks when available and watch for cars, especially in driveways and parking lots.
Stay Calm and Have Fun!
Be kind, follow the rules, and look out for one another. It’s all about making happy and safe memories.
Have a safe and happy Halloween!
