Halloween Parade, Truck-and-Treat and Trunk-and-Treat

Parade Line Up at 11:30 AM

The parade will leave Sampson’s Mills Church heading left on Ohio Avenue, take a right onto McClure Lane, a right onto Kansas Avenue, and a right onto Kelly Street, returning to the church.

After the parade, come and enjoy this FREE community event designed to give children the opportunity to see, touch, and safely explore their favorite trucks and heavy machinery and ask questions in a safe, supervised environment.

Truck-and-Treat will feature emergency, construction, safety, and sanitation vehicles, along with the men and women who operate them. Come out and meet the men and women who protect, serve, and build the White Oak community!

If children in our community are ever in an emergency situation where one of these emergency response teams is necessary, their experience at the Truck-and-Treat event may make a potentially scary situation a little less intimidating.

After checking out the trucks, please join us inside for more fun. There will be music, hot dogs, drinks, snacks, games, and treat bags for all the children. We will also be giving away prizes for the best boy and the best girl costumes.

Parents are also encouraged to wear their costumes.
